Eknath Shinde Highlights Shiv Sena's Higher Strike Rate in Lok Sabha Polls

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde praised Shiv Sena's higher strike rate in Lok Sabha polls despite winning fewer seats than Uddhav Thackeray-led faction. Speaking at a gathering where he laid foundation stones for projects worth Rs 547 crore, Shinde addressed opposition criticism and assured fair quota distribution among communities.

In a recent address, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde underscored Shiv Sena's superior strike rate in the Lok Sabha elections, despite securing fewer seats compared to the Uddhav Thackeray-led faction. Shinde emphasized that his party's strategic victories in key constituencies reflected effective campaigning and public support.

Speaking at an event where he inaugurated development projects totaling Rs 547 crore, Shinde countered opposition narratives about constitutional changes and reservation policies. He pointed to the ruling alliance's nearly identical vote share with the opposition's, despite different seat tallies, as evidence of his government's robust performance.

Shinde also reassured that the OBC community would not be disadvantaged while accommodating Maratha community reservations. His remarks came amid ongoing debates on quota distribution and political realignments in Maharashtra.
