Princess Kate of Wales is scheduled to attend the men's singles final at Wimbledon on Sunday, according to Kensington Palace. This marks her second public appearance since undergoing surgery six months ago that revealed the presence of cancer. The 42-year-old princess is currently undergoing preventative chemotherapy but remains an avid tennis fan and a dedicated patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club Wimbledon, which hosts the annual tennis championships.

Returning to her public duties in June at 'Trooping the Colour,' the annual military parade celebrating King Charles's official birthday, Princess Kate expressed her desire to attend more events over the summer. In a personal message, she stated, 'I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days.'

Kate's treatment began in February, and despite her office's refusal to disclose specific details about the type of cancer or her medical condition, it is known that her chemotherapy will continue for a few more months. Prince Charles, 75, has also been undergoing treatment for cancer and has returned to public duties, although his engagements are being limited to reduce risks to his recovery.
