Rosshan Andrrews, a director known for Malayalam blockbusters like "Salute" and "Kayamkulam Kochunni," has helmed ''Deva.''

The makers promise that ''Deva'' will be a roller-coaster ride filled with drama and action. Shahid Kapoor plays a brilliant yet rebellious police officer, while Pooja Hegde essays the role of a journalist. The film also features actor Pavail Gulati in a significant role.
