By Kathryn Lurie PARIS, July 29 - Renowned American artist Carole Feuerman has captured the spotlight at the Paris Olympics with her super-realist sculpture 'The Diver', a bronze creation showcased at the Eiffel Tower.

Selected from thousands of entries, 'The Diver' resonates with the values of perseverance and integrity that define the Olympics. Feuerman was inspired by legendary diver Greg Louganis, whom she met at the Swimming Hall of Fame. The sculpture's journey was filled with challenges, almost missing its flight to Paris.

Feuerman, a veteran artist for over six decades, also founded the Carole A. Feuerman Sculpture Foundation in 2011 to support under-represented artists. She aims to inspire athletes and youth to persevere through their struggles, reflecting the spirit of the Olympic Games.
