The 36-year-old actor experienced a health scare on Friday while at a villa in Ibiza. According to a representative's statement to People magazine, Efron was hospitalized as a precaution and released the next day.

'He is fine,' the representative assured.

Earlier in the week, the 'High School Musical' star joined DJ Martin Garrix on stage at the Ushuaia Ibiza Hotel and Beach Club in the Spanish city. Efron’s recent projects include Netflix's romantic comedy 'A Family Affair,' the biographical sports drama 'The Iron Claw,' and Prime Video's comedy 'Ricky Stanicky.'
