Ramdev Urges Diplomatic Action Over Attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh

Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has condemned the recent attacks on Hindu temples, homes, and businesses in Bangladesh, calling for diplomatic action by the Indian government. His remarks follow the resignation of Sheikh Hasina amid ongoing violence. Ramdev also called for unity in India to prevent similar unrest.

Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev on Tuesday condemned the targeted attacks on Hindu temples, houses, and businesses in Bangladesh, urging the Indian government to take political and diplomatic measures to protect Hindu minorities in the neighboring country.

His comments come a day after Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned following protests over a controversial job quota system, which led to widespread violence. Ramdev also called for stern actions against those inciting trouble via social media in India.

Ramdev stressed the need for unity in India to support the Hindu minority in Bangladesh and to showcase the strength of Hindus worldwide. He warned that communal violence in Bangladesh, led by Jamait-e-Islami and other fundamentalist forces, is at its peak and must be curbed.
