CPI(M) Mourns Former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee

The CPI(M) Polit Bureau has expressed deep sorrow over the death of senior party leader and former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee.

Bhattacharjee, aged 80, passed away at his home in Kolkata following age-related health issues, according to CPI(M) West Bengal secretary Md Salim.

The Polit Bureau highlighted Bhattacharjee's extensive contributions to the party and governance, noting his tenure as chief minister and his influential role in cultural development. His literary passion led him to write and translate numerous works. The CPI(M) extended condolences to his family.
