A woman, allegedly inebriated, caused a commotion in Telangana on Thursday evening by throwing a snake at a female bus conductor after damaging the rear windshield of a bus, according to police reports.

The incident occurred when the woman, identified as the suspect, threw a liquor bottle at a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus at Vidyanagar. Upon being confronted by the conductor, she retrieved a snake from her bag and hurled it at her. Fortunately, the conductor managed to avoid the reptile.

TSRTC officials have lodged a complaint with the Nallakunta police station, clarifying that the incident was not a result of the bus failing to stop at the Vidyanagar bus stand. The woman, whose husband is known to catch snakes, reportedly carried the snake in observance of 'Nag Panchami.' She has been taken into custody, and investigations are underway.
