Kargil 1999: The Untold Story - A Documentary Premiere on IAF's Role in the Kargil War

A new documentary titled 'Kargil 1999: The Untold Story of the Indian Air Force' premiered in Delhi, highlighting the IAF's significant role during the Kargil War. Featuring rare footage, the film celebrates the valour of air warriors and is set to release on August 15, produced by DocuBay in collaboration with Media Indica.

A documentary film that portrays the crucial role played by the IAF during the 1999 Kargil War premiered in Delhi on Friday, drawing many air force officers and personnel in attendance.

Named 'Kargil 1999: The Untold Story of the Indian Air Force,' the film was screened at the Air Force Auditorium at Subroto Park to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the conflict. Commissioned by Mumbai-based digital media platform DocuBay, the film was created under the supervision of the IAF and is set to release on August 15.

The IAF Chief, Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari, was slated to be the chief guest but was unable to attend due to a contingency. Speaking at the event, DocuBay COO Girish Dwibhashyam announced that the film will feature rare footage from the 1999 war, along with interviews of several air warriors and veterans who participated in 'Operation Safed Sagar.'
