Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar took a dig at the opposition on Tuesday, dismissing their calls for a JPC probe into Hindenburg Research's allegations as attempts to destabilize India, which he said is developing at 'nuclear speed'.
While flagging off the 'Tiranga Bike Rally' from Bharat Mandapam as part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, Dhankhar said, 'Our pace of development is such that we are moving ahead at a nuclear speed. Some people are unable to digest it, they want to bring obstruction and instability'.
The rally, which concluded at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, marks the third edition of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign celebrating India's 78th Independence Day. Asserting India's rise as unstoppable, Dhankhar encouraged citizens to keep national interests above all and unite against forces undermining the country's progress.
