Ethan Guo, a 19-year-old Chinese-American pilot, is embarking on an extraordinary solo global tour to raise funds for childhood cancer research. The young aviator will be landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi next week as part of his mission to set a world record.
Guo, who began his ‘Flight Against Cancer’ in Geneva, has already covered substantial ground, with scheduled stops in over 60 countries. The journey is aimed at raising USD 1 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
With more than 75 take-offs and landings planned, Guo’s mission blends the thrill of aviation with the noble cause of fighting childhood cancer, inspired by his cousin's battle with the disease.
