Tragic Accident in Chamba: Three Pilgrims Dead, Ten Injured

Three devotees from Punjab died and 10 others were injured in an SUV accident in Himachal Pradesh. The incident occurred near Bharmour as the group traveled to the Manimahesh pilgrimage site. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.

A tragic accident took the lives of three devotees from Punjab and left ten others injured when their SUV plunged into a deep gorge in Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district on Wednesday, police reported.

The group was en route to Manimahesh when they encountered the accident around 9 am near Bharmour. Locals who witnessed the SUV veer off the Bharmour-Bharmani Mata Temple road said the driver lost control, resulting in the fatal plunge.

Superintendent of Police Chamba, Abhishek Yadav, confirmed that they were notified of the accident immediately and dispatched a police team to the site. The injured were quickly transported to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College, Chamba, for treatment.
