Kerala Leads Nation in Business and Citizen-Centric Reforms

Kerala has emerged as the leader in two categories of business-centric and seven categories of citizen-centric reforms in the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry's rankings. The state has achieved over 95% positive feedback in these areas. The awards were presented at a conference in New Delhi.

In a notable achievement, Kerala has emerged as the national leader in business-centric and citizen-centric reforms, as per the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s rankings. These accolades reflect the state’s highly conducive business ecosystem and the transparent, inclusive service delivery mechanisms it employs.

Presented during the Conference of State Industries Ministers at the Yashobhumi Convention Centre, New Delhi, the awards were accepted by P Rajeeve, Kerala's Minister for Industries, Law and Coir. Union Minister Piyush Goyal handed over the Business Reforms Action Plan '22 (BRAP 22) award.

Kerala excelled in facilitating utility permits and paying taxes, alongside achievements in an online single window system, certificate issuance, public distribution, transport improvements, and employment exchanges.
