Tragic End to Pilgrimage: Three Devotees Killed by Train

Three individuals on a religious pilgrimage in Rajasthan's Karauli district were struck and killed by a train. The victims, walking on railway tracks due to waterlogging, were residents of Harijan Basti in Gangapur city. The incident occurred near Neemoda station involving the Delhi-Indore Superfast Express.

In a tragic turn of events, three pilgrims lost their lives after being run over by a train in Rajasthan's Karauli district. The incident occurred late Thursday night.

The deceased, Shyam (14), Darshan alias Kalu (41), and Tarun (31), were hit by the Delhi-Indore Superfast Express near Neemoda station, according to Narauli Dang Station House Officer (SHO) Abjeet Kumar.

The victims were on a religious padyatra from Gangapur to Ranthambore and were forced to walk on the railway tracks due to rain-induced waterlogging. They hailed from Harijan Basti in Gangapur city, where their families were informed on Friday morning.
