India Game Developer Conference Aims to Transform Global Gaming Landscape

The India Game Developer Conference (IGDC), a three-day event organized by the Game Developer Association of India, commenced with over 100 international and domestic gaming developers and publishers showcasing their innovative entertainment offerings.
Sanjay Jaju, Secretary from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, highlighted the industry's reliance on content and creativity. He announced the ministry's collaboration with the Game Developer Association of India to nurture top-tier talent, positioning India as a dominant player in the global gaming arena.
Jaju further revealed plans for an Indian Institute of Creative Technology to bolster skill development in the gaming sector. The conference saw an impressive turnout of over 6,000 attendees on its opening day, showcasing strong industry interest and engagement.
