In a notable legal move, influencer Ranveer Allahbadia approached the Supreme Court on Friday to contest FIRs filed against him regarding inflammatory comments made during a YouTube program.

A panel featuring Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justice Sanjay Kumar noted the appeal by lawyer Abhinav Chandrachud, representing Allahbadia, and indicated that the case will be scheduled for a hearing within two to three days.

Chandrachud highlighted the urgency, pointing out that the Assam Police summoned Allahbadia due to the comments made on comedian Samay Raina's show 'India's Got Latent,' which generated substantial controversy and multiple FIRs nationwide.
