Holi Tradition: Kashi Vishwanath Temple Receives Gifts from Mathura

The Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi is set to celebrate Holi with a special gift from the Laddu Gopal of the Shri Krishna Janmasthan Temple in Mathura.
An exchange of festive gifts between the temples has been initiated for the first time, said Vishwabhushan Mishra, CEO of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Celebrations include the use of colors, abir, and gulal received in honor of the occasion, coinciding with Rangbhari Ekadashi.
As part of a grand three-day festival, devotees participated in various rituals, including the Haldi Utsav. The event featured a flower-adorned palanquin procession as devotees chanted prayers.
