Delhi Government's Response to Tragic Fire

In a show of solidarity, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta visited the families of three men who perished in a slum fire near AGCR Colony on Monday. During her visit, she announced financial aid of Rs 10 lakh for each grieving family.

The chief minister assured that the Delhi Government is committed to assisting the affected families. "While no financial aid can replace the loss of life, we stand firmly with these families during this difficult time," Gupta emphasized.

The incident, which claimed the lives of three individuals from Auraiya in Uttar Pradesh, has prompted a call for a thorough investigation. Firefighting teams responded promptly, but the victims, Jaggi, Shyam Singh, and Kanta Prasad, were found dead due to asphyxiation, authorities reported.
