Haryana embarked on a historic cultural milestone by adopting its official state song, reflecting the state's progress, values, and cultural heritage. The adoption came after a unanimous voice vote in the State Assembly, marking the conclusion of the budget session.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini expressed his gratitude to all contributors involved in the song's creation, celebrating it as an inspirational beacon for the state's 2.80 crore residents. He called upon establishing guidelines for the state song akin to those for the national anthem, emphasizing its role in instilling sensitivity, hard work, and loyalty among Haryana's people.
The initiative, originally proposed by former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, saw the incorporation of suggestions from Assembly members before reaching its finalized form. As Haryana continues its legacy as a pivotal state since 1966, Saini praised the song for highlighting the state's rich history, cultural contributions, and its vital role in India's defense and agriculture sectors.
