India is set to host the Miss World pageant for the second successive year, with festivities kicking off on May 10 in Hyderabad. This marks the second time the nation has hosted the global event in consecutive years since 1951, paralleling the UK's past achievement.
India has previously celebrated six Miss World winners, including notable names like Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra. The latest representative, Nandini Gupta of Rajasthan, continues India's tradition of spotlighting beauty, intellect, and purpose internationally.
The pageant will be launched at Gachibowli's indoor stadium with the grand finale scheduled for May 31. The Telangana government is making extensive preparations to ensure the event's success, reflecting India’s emerging stature within the global beauty and event industries.
