In a remarkable demonstration of commitment to health and wellness, the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) organized a large-scale yoga event, 'Yoga Sangam,' at Uran in Navi Mumbai, attracting 10,000 participants on International Yoga Day.
Enthusiasm was palpable in Thane city, where Yoga Day was celebrated in different locales, including the Central Jail and the mental hospital, despite the logistical challenges posed by inclement weather.
The JNPA session, touted as the second largest in India, was emblematic of the day's global significance, promoting the theme 'Yoga for One Earth, One Health', supported by ministries and Ayurveda institutes.
