Yogi Adityanath Elevates Bhadohi's Carpet Industry and Infrastructure Leap

During a visit to Bhadohi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath applauded local artisans for reviving the carpet industry, which now elevates Uttar Pradesh's share to 60% of India's carpet exports. He highlighted the industry's GI tag as a symbol of coordinated efforts to enhance its global presence.
Adityanath approved several infrastructure projects, such as the construction of a bridge over the Ganga near Dengarhpur and a road overbridge between Gopiganj and Mirzapur. He also directed the swift development of an approved mini-stadium and upgraded plans for an auditorium to serve as a multipurpose hall.
Focusing on healthcare and education, Adityanath revealed plans for a 50-bed critical care centre and hinted at a new medical college. He also discussed expanding Kashi Naresh Government PG College into a state university, contingent on land allocation. Efforts are underway to enhance residential facilities and road connectivity in Bhadohi.
