Yogi Adityanath Elevates Bhadohi's Carpet Industry and Infrastructure Leap

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath applauded the artisans for revitalizing the Bhadohi carpet industry, significantly raising Uttar Pradesh's share in India's carpet exports. He announced infrastructure projects, including a bridge and a road overbridge, and plans to enhance healthcare and education facilities, while supporting local craftsmanship globally.

During a visit to Bhadohi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath applauded local artisans for reviving the carpet industry, which now elevates Uttar Pradesh's share to 60% of India's carpet exports. He highlighted the industry's GI tag as a symbol of coordinated efforts to enhance its global presence.

Adityanath approved several infrastructure projects, such as the construction of a bridge over the Ganga near Dengarhpur and a road overbridge between Gopiganj and Mirzapur. He also directed the swift development of an approved mini-stadium and upgraded plans for an auditorium to serve as a multipurpose hall.

Focusing on healthcare and education, Adityanath revealed plans for a 50-bed critical care centre and hinted at a new medical college. He also discussed expanding Kashi Naresh Government PG College into a state university, contingent on land allocation. Efforts are underway to enhance residential facilities and road connectivity in Bhadohi.
