Film director Mohit Suri is reveling in the success of his latest release, 'Saiyaara'. The romantic drama, which deeply connects with young audiences, showcases Suri's real-life influence. Speaking to ANI, Suri reflected on his first love experience and its subtle inclusion in the film, describing a constant thread of romance throughout his life since the age of 16 or 17.

The movie narrates the enchanting journey of a young couple, a singer and a lyricist, portraying their experiences of love, loss, achievement, and heartbreak. Suri candidly shared his creative process and discussed the film's music, highlighting the post-COVID trend of larger-than-life blockbusters which inspired him to create something different among the noise.

Suri revealed, "During a time when audiences were drawn to action-packed blockbusters, I feared my voice would be lost. Alongside my assistant Sankalp Sadanah, we crafted a unique story, defying industry expectations. Crucially, I gained support from Akshaye Widhani, who backed this project, marking a distinctive turn against prevalent cinematic trends." Featuring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the film has been lauded for its emotional resonance.

Discussing the music and promotion of the film, Suri expressed the importance of storytelling over appearances, emphasizing the potential of music and dance in launching fresh talent. He remarked on the strategic decision to promote the film with a poignant song, despite the general preference for upbeat tracks among youth.

'Saiyaara' is noted for its emotional depth, powerful performances, and evocative music, achieving widespread audience and critical admiration. Continuing strong at the box office, the film's reception highlights Suri's successful depiction of a heartfelt narrative. (ANI)
