KJSIM Partners with AMTEC to Boost Sustainability in Plastics

The collaboration includes certificate programs, research, and consulting, focusing on promoting responsible practices within the plastics ecosystem.

The K J Somaiya Institute of Management (KJSIM) announced on Thursday its new partnership with AMTEC, aimed at addressing critical challenges in sustainability, skill development, and innovation within the plastics and manufacturing industries.
AMTEC, the academic and training division of the All India Plastic Manufacturers' Association (AIPMA), with its vast membership base, will collaborate with KJSIM on several joint initiatives. The partnership will roll out certificate programs, spearhead research projects, and offer consulting services to strengthen industry knowledge and practices.
Part of this collaboration includes a 34-hour certificate course titled 'Plastics in Sustainability.' This initiative is designed and will be delivered by KJSIM faculty at AMTEC's training facility, providing industry professionals with scientific insights and practical skills to enhance their understanding and responsibilities within the sustainability framework of the plastics sector.
