Fresh snowfall in Himachal Pradesh's Lahaul and Spiti district and Manali has lowered temperatures, pleasing tourism stakeholders by potentially boosting tourist footfall. Light rain was reported in various parts of the state, with the coldest temperatures in Tabo at minus 0.7 degrees Celsius.

Manali and the higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh's Lahaul and Spiti district experienced fresh snowfall, causing a drop in minimum temperatures, local officials reported on Wednesday.
The recent snowfall has been a welcome sight for tourism stakeholders in Manali and Lahaul and Spiti, who are optimistic about an increase in tourist visits.
According to the Shimla Met office, light rains were recorded in parts of the state, with Manali receiving 12 mm and Tabo in Lahaul and Spiti dropping to a chilly minus 0.7 degrees Celsius at night.
