Mumbai Gears Up for Mahaparinirvan Diwas with Massive Security Detail

Mumbai is bracing for a massive influx of devotees as thousands are expected to pay homage to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar at Chaityabhoomi on his 69th death anniversary, Mahaparinirvan Diwas. Over 5000 police personnel have been deployed to maintain order during the event.
The police force includes 4640 constables, 492 officers, various police commissioners, and support from State Reserve Police Force, Quick Response Teams, and other specialized units. Traffic police have made arrangements for road closures around Chaityabhoomi to manage the crowd effectively.
In addition to the commemorations, a musical event titled 'Bhimanjali' is scheduled at Ravindra Natya Mandir, highlighting the cultural significance of this annual observance. Security across the city, especially in railway stations and key areas, remains tight to ensure smooth conduct.
