Mystery Deepens in Zubeen Garg's Alleged Murder Case

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the death of singer Zubeen Garg has submitted its comprehensive chargesheet to the Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court in Assam's Guwahati. The voluminous document exceeds 3,500 pages, filled with evidence carried in four trunks, officials confirmed.
The team, comprising nine members, arrived in a convoy of six vehicles to present the case they have been vigilantly piecing together. Notably, the SIT, under the leadership of Special DGP M P Gupta, has arrested seven individuals in connection with this high-profile case while examining over 300 witnesses.
Garg tragically passed away in Singapore while swimming on September 19. Assam's Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, made a bold statement during the recent assembly session, declaring that Garg's death is a 'plain and simple murder,' adding a new dimension to the ongoing investigation.
