The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, convened on Monday to set in motion an array of projects aimed at bolstering state development. Key decisions included the green light for a cancer care center at Hamirpur and the construction of Asia's longest zipline near Dharamsala.

Further commitments were made to harness untapped geothermal energy resources through newly adopted policies, while Alliance Air Aviation Ltd received approval to operate daily flights on specific routes. Infrastructure advancements were also sanctioned, such as a new ice skating rink in Shimla and additional blocks for AIIMS Bilaspur.

The cabinet also passed measures enhancing social welfare, amending existing policies to facilitate pension delivery, and approving new appointments across government sectors. These decisions underscore the state's emphasis on health, tourism, and energy development.
