In a significant development, a court in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, has granted bail to Satadru Dutta, the organizer behind last month's disastrous Messi event.

Dutta was initially arrested on December 13 for his alleged failure to manage the event held at Salt Lake Stadium, which descended into chaos.

The additional chief judicial magistrate in Bidhannagar offered bail set at Rs 20,000 with two sureties. Fans, having paid exorbitant ticket prices, expressed outrage over Messi's brief appearance and the ensuing disorder.
