Revolutionizing Mobility: N Chandrababu Naidu's Record-breaking E-Cycle Initiative

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu sets a Guinness World Record by distributing over 3,742 Super Cycles within 24 hours. Aimed at women's empowerment and sustainable development, the e-cycles are part of the Swarna Kuppam Vision 2029. This initiative promotes zero-emission transport and substantial fuel savings.

In a groundbreaking move for sustainable development and women's empowerment, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has set a new Guinness World Record. During his recent visit to Kuppam, Naidu distributed 3,742 Super Cycles within a mere 24-hour period, out of a total 5,555 units slated for distribution.

The initiative forms part of the Swarna Kuppam Vision 2029, aimed at transforming Kuppam into India's first net-zero model constituency. Developed by the Kuppam Area Development Authority in collaboration with IIT Kanpur, the initiative promotes the use of eco-friendly e-cycles which offer a remarkable 60-kilometer range on a single charge.

Empowering working women, SHG members, and ASHA workers, the programme demonstrates significant environmental benefits. It marks a massive leap in carbon reduction, with each e-cycle achieving a 75% reduction in greenhouse gas intensity. As this e-mobility transition unfolds, Andhra Pradesh aims to expand the Super Cycle initiative across the state.
