Amidst heightened security measures, thousands of devotees converged at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar's renowned Grishneshwar Temple to honor Mahashivratri on Sunday. The temple, celebrated as the 12th Jyotirlinga, witnessed an overwhelming convergence of worshipers expecting to touch nearly 4 lakh by Monday morning.
The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district's rural police ensured a robust security setup, deploying 450 personnel to manage the influx efficiently. This organized effort also included 32 officers, 175 home guards, and 250 police personnel strategically positioned around the temple grounds.
To accommodate the large number of devotees, parking facilities have been organized a kilometer away from the temple. As the solemn festival dedicated to Lord Shiva continues through the night, the serene spiritual ambiance enveloped the historic site, symbolizing nationwide celebrations marked by prayer and devotion.
