Netflix has inaugurated its pioneering visual effects and virtual production hub, Eyeline Studios, in Hyderabad, marking an important expansion in India's burgeoning animation, VFX, gaming, and comics sector. The launch event was graced by Telangana's Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and other notable dignitaries, including actor-producer Rana Daggubati.

Eyeline Studios, a premier innovation hub for visual effects and virtual production, aims to merge practical filmmaking with cutting-edge technology. The studio was established in 2019 and later united with Scanline VFX in 2025 to bolster its creative force across three divisions: Studios, VFX, and Labs. Eyeline boasts proprietary technologies like the Light Dome and AI-driven production tools, contributing to acclaimed productions such as 'Stranger Things' and 'Daredevil: Born Again'.

Speaking on the occasion, Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos emphasized India's dynamic storytelling market and the government's AVGC sector focus. Jeff Shapiro, CEO of Eyeline Studios, and actor Rana Daggubati underscored Hyderabad's significance as a hub for Indian and global filmmakers, citing its rich talent pool and superior visual effects capabilities.
