In a flurry of excitement, actor Ananya Panday announced the conclusion of the shooting schedule for the eagerly anticipated second season of 'Call Me Bae' in Thailand. Ananya took to her Instagram Story to share the milestone, posting a picture of a celebratory cake inscribed with 'CMB 2 Season Wrap'.
As the show gears up for its return, Season 2 will dive into Bae's journey of newfound fame as her personal news show makes its much-awaited debut. Ananya's character faces an array of personal and professional challenges, with the return of her ex-husband adding complexity to her life. Additionally, her charismatic boss becomes an unexpected distraction.
With tensions rising in her close-knit friend group due to the introduction of a 'Nayi Behen', the drama is set to escalate. Back on board alongside Ananya are actors including Vir Das, Shruti Haasan, and Mini Mathur among others. Renowned filmmaker Karan Johar, alongside Adar Poonawalla and Apoorva Mehta, are producing the series, with Collin D'Cunha helming the direction and Ishita Moitra leading the writing team.
