An Indian national has died after mysteriously losing consciousness while at a cafe in Phuket, Thailand, along with three other tourists. The Indian embassy confirmed the death and is coordinating with Thai authorities for further investigation.
The unsettling incident occurred in the Kamala Beach area of Kathu district at around 1.54 am last Saturday, as per reports from Thai media. Four Indian tourists reportedly fell unconscious one by one at a cafe, and one tragically did not survive despite prompt hospitalization.
The Indian embassy expressed condolences to the victim's family, promising comprehensive support during this distressing time. The authorities are closely monitoring the health conditions of the other affected tourists, three of whom are now reported to be stable.
