The Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) has taken a significant step toward modernization by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Kerala State Information Technology Infrastructure Limited (KITSFRA) on Wednesday.

This agreement, signed at the TDB headquarters, aims to digitize temple and office operations under the board's jurisdiction, streamlining administration, file movements, and financial transactions. Notably, the project will also offer enhanced online services for devotees, particularly for the revered Sabarimala Temple.

The first phase, focusing on Sabarimala's online services, is slated for completion before the Mandala-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season, promising a faster, more efficient, and transparent experience for devotees.
