Young Karate Champion Embraces Patriotic Spirit by Skipping International Competition

In a demonstration of national pride, Mumbai BJP chief Ameet Satam announced that his 12-year-old daughter Mahika has chosen not to participate in an upcoming international karate competition in Seoul. This decision comes following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent call for citizens to reduce foreign travel for some time.

Mahika, who recently achieved her black belt in karate, had qualified for the tournament in South Korea. However, the family collectively decided to respect the Prime Minister's austerity appeal. Ameet stated, 'Competitions come and go, and we are confident Mahika will receive many such opportunities in the future.'

Satam expressed pride in his daughter's maturity and patriotic spirit, lauding her willingness to prioritize the country's interest over personal achievements. He also thanked his family for their understanding and support in making this difficult decision.
