The trailer for The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 14 aired in early July features all the women performing some unexpected kinds of stuff. We again get a glimpse through the trailer into the lives of these elfin, glamorous housewives when they occupy seats in their designer outfits, start boozing and discussing their gloomy parts of their lives with each other.

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 14 will return with Vicki Gunvalson just appearing as a 'friend' to the main cast. Vicki Gunvalson, 'the OG of the OC,' appeared in all the previous 13 seasons since the show commenced in March 2006. This is for the first time she enters as a 'friend of the housewives' but this does not mean that her fans should be disappointed. Her presence in the reality series is likely not to be reduced.

The previous cast members for the imminent season include Tamra Judge, Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter, Shannon Storms Beador and Kelly Dodd. Braunwyn Windham-Burke has joined the cast. Meghan King Edmonds enters Season 14 as a guest.

Fans were initially disheartened upon learning that Vicki Gunvalson's place might be trimmed. But she responded saying that her fans should not rely on any buzzes until she confirmed anything. Then she took to Instagram and posted an emotional message about her journey on the show. "For the past 14 years I've opened up my life, my loves, my ups and downs on The Real Housewives of Orange County and I am proud to be the 'OG of the OC'. I am back again this season right in the middle of the action in a different role. I hope you have as much fun watching the show as I did living it in front of the cameras. Stay tuned to Bravo August 6th for more of the Tres Amigas," she wrote on Instagram.

However, fans are not happy knowing that she has been demoted from the role of housewife to the friend of housewives. Her avid followers took to Twitter to express their discontent with the starting of #justiceforvicki. On the other hand, another group of fans of different psychology believe that the show must continue without her as her tales of life have already been filtered in the last 13 years. They believe that it will nice to see new faces with new drama and life stories in the imminent season. Like Gina Kirschenheiter's (since Season 13) recent domestic violence accusations and restraining order against her husband Matt will be portrayed in Season 14.

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 14 will premiere on August 6 on Bravo.
