NCIS Season 17 is officially confirmed and renewed by CBS and fans are quite excited as they will again see Mark Harmon, their favorite actor in the role of Leroy Jethro Gibbs as a special agent. Here, instead of discussing more what can be seen in the series, we will be discussing on the entry and exit of some important actors.

Before the renewal of NCIS Season 17, a rumor severely broke out that Mark Harmon would not reprise his role as Leroy Jethro Gibbs in the upcoming season. And many reasons were also portrayed by the buzz creators one of which his poor health. It was said that the NCIS: New Orleans actor is going to turn 68 in this September and he may not be able to maintain the acting demands in the American police procedural drama.

Even it was further claimed NCIS Season 17 would be released without the presence of Mark Harmon due to his alleged conflicts with the staff. This story commenced when Pauley Perrette, who played the role of Abby Sciuto from Season 1 to Season 15, left the series and took to social media to gain her attention by some obscuring messages like she was abused for years on the set of NCIS. Pauley Perrette didn’t pull Mark Harmon in the controversy, but finally she dragged him in it.

However, the good news is that Mark Harmon will be present in the imminent season of the police procedural drama. In other words, NCIS is incomplete without him. Wilmer Valderrama, who plays the role of Nicholas Torres from Season 14, has been sharing snaps from the studio which shows absolute presence of Harmon and in action. The images not only indicate their bombshell fight over Twitter has been resolved, it is also clear that he is absolutely fit and fine to return in Season 17.

There is also a rumor that Maria Bello, who plays the role of Dr. Jacqueline Sloane, may leave the show. She is said to have signed a contract for three seasons before starting her role from Season 15. According to the contract, Season 17 will be the last season of Maria Belo. On the other hand, fans will see the returning of Cote de Pablo who played the role of Ziva David between Season 3 to Season 11 and again in Season 16. Even there is a possibility of Michael Weatherly to reprise his role as Anthony DiNozzo in Season 17.
