Suicide bomber kills 3 foreign soldiers on patrol in eastern Afghanistan
A suicide bomber killed three foreign soldiers in an attack on a patrol in eastern Afghanistan today, NATO's mission in the country said.
The attack by a lone bomber on foot happened at 6 am in the city of Charikar in Parwan province some 60 kilometers north of Kabul, said provincial governor's spokesman Wahida Shahkar.
The Taliban in a statement claimed responsibility.
