The body has been moved to a nearby hospital for postmortem.

A 2008-batch IRS officer, Sharma was posted as deputy commissioner in the central goods and services tax commissioner in Jaipur, while her husband is also a government officer posted in Chandigarh.

"Reasons of the suicide are not immediately clear and the matter is being probed," the officer said.
