2 held for firing incident in Thane

Thane, May 25 (PTI0 Two people were arrested withinsix hours of a firing incident in Thane city, police said onMonday

Akshay Patil and one more person had met Dinesh Mundefor a drink amid the lockdown at around 9pm on Sunday, andafter some altercation over Facebook posts, Patil fired somerounds at Munde, though the latter escaped unhurt, a Mumbrapolice station official said

"Patil and his friend fled after nearby residentsrushed to the spot. We arrested the two within six hours fromnear a theatre. Both were charged with attempt to murder," headded.
