BoE's Bailey: Events in Middle East create economic uncertainty

Recent events in the Middle East create economic uncertainty and a risk of higher energy prices, Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey said on Thursday.

"It does create uncertainty, it does I think create a risk of higher energy prices," Bailey said at a press conference. "So far I would say that hasn't happened, and that's obviously encouraging, but the risk remains there."
