In a social media post, Delhi Power Minister Atishi announced that she is seeking an urgent appointment with the Union Power Minister and the Chairman of PGCIL to ensure such disruptions are not repeated. 'There is a power outage in many parts of Delhi from 2:11 pm due to a fire at PGCIL's substation in Mandola, UP,' she stated.
Atishi added that the restoration process has begun, and electricity is gradually being restored to the affected areas. 'This major failure in the national power grid is extremely worrying,' she emphasized.
