West Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari has clarified his recent comments on 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas', emphasizing his commitment to national unity. Adhikari contended that his statement was misconstrued and reiterated his alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of inclusive development and trust.
Adhikari criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, alleging divisive politics and calling for an end to seeing people through the lens of majority and minority. 'We should see people as Indians,' he stated, urging his party to dissolve its Minority Morcha and adopt the slogan 'Jo Hamare Saath, Hum Unke Saath' (We are with those who support us).
The BJP leader also raised a serious allegation, claiming that over 50 lakh Hindus were barred from voting in recent elections. He announced the launch of a portal to register complaints and promised to initiate a legal battle to address these grievances. 'Democracy is dead in Bengal,' he told ANI, insisting that the fight to save Hindus and the Constitution will persist.
