Chhattisgarh Chief Minister on Tuesday appreciated the Union Budget 2024 presented in parliament, describing it as a pivotal measure for the state's development. The CM conveyed his reactions through a series of posts on the official X handle of the Chief Minister's Office (CMO).

'Union Budget 2024 is an important step for the overall development of Chhattisgarh. Poor families of Chhattisgarh will get food security. Farmers will receive financial support and necessary resources. This budget is crucial for women's empowerment,' Chief Minister Dai stated in the posts. Addressing the sectors of education and health, he added, 'Chhattisgarh's education and health sector will see significant improvements.'

Discussing the provisions for infrastructure and urban development, Chief Minister Sai highlighted that the schemes outlined in Budget 2024 would fast-track the state's progress. Emphasizing a special scheme for tribal communities, he underlined the importance of the Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Unnat Gram Abhiyan for their development.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the first Union Budget of the Modi 3.0 government on Tuesday, marking her seventh consecutive budget during the Monsoon Session of Parliament. She identified nine priorities aimed at economic growth, including agriculture productivity, employment, skilling, inclusive human resource development, social justice, manufacturing and services, urban development, energy security, infrastructure, and innovation.
