A 35-year-old woman and her two minor daughters were found dead in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district, an official reported on Wednesday. The incident took place in Nepal Palace Colony under the jurisdiction of Civil Line police station late Tuesday night, police confirmed.

"We received information about the deaths of a woman and her daughters at their residence in Nepal Palace Colony. Police and senior officials promptly arrived at the scene. Preliminary evidence suggests they were murdered," stated Sanjeev Uikey, in-charge Superintendent of Police, Sagar. Authorities have registered a case against an unidentified person and initiated an investigation.

"The victims have been identified as Vandana Patel, 35, and her daughters, aged eight and three. Initial findings indicate they were attacked with sharp-edged weapons," the officer said. The police are actively investigating the case and interrogating suspects. (ANI)
