Chief Minister Vows to Reduce School Dropout Rates at Bhopal Workshop

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav participated in a regional workshop in Bhopal on 'Preventing dropouts from schools and Re-Engaging out of school children in various States/Uts of India.' The event took place at TIT College in Anand Nagar on Saturday and was organized by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR). The workshop included discussions and reviews aimed at reducing school dropout rates within the state.

Experts and scholars in the field of education addressed the issue of school dropouts and provided various suggestions. CM Yadav praised the importance of the topic and assured the state's cooperation. He pointed out that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's engagement with students and the introduction of the New Education Policy (NEP) have increased the significance of education in the country. Numerous facilities are being made available to students, he added.

The workshop also saw the participation of Priyanka Kanungo, Chairman of the Child Protection Commission, who welcomed CM Yadav and presented him with a memento. Member Secretary of the National Commission Rupali Banerjee and representatives from five states attended the West Central Regional Workshop. State Cabinet Minister Prahlad Singh Patel echoed the resolve that no child in Madhya Pradesh should be deprived of their rights or forced into child labor.
