Syngenta Unveils Advanced Crop Protection Solutions in India

Syngenta India has launched two new crop protection products, Miravis® Duo and Reflect® Top, aimed at combating fungal diseases in various crops, including rice and tomatoes. These innovative solutions promise to enhance productivity and yield quality, reducing the annual agricultural losses due to fungal infections.

Syngenta India on Monday announced the introduction of new crop protection products targeting multiple crops such as rice and tomatoes.

As a global leader in agriculture, Syngenta India Pvt. Ltd is launching Miravis® Duo and Reflect® Top to boost crop quality through robust disease management.

Miravis® Duo, an advanced fungicide, is designed to protect tomatoes, chilli, groundnuts, and grapes from diseases like Powdery Mildew, Anthracnose, and Leaf Spots, offering farmers superior yield quality. The company reports that up to 23% of crops are lost annually to fungal infections, and Miravis® Duo can significantly mitigate this, ensuring a higher return on investment for growers.

Reflect® Top, a specialised fungicide for rice, aims to combat sheath blight, thus providing prolonged disease control and ensuring a sturdy crop foundation.

Susheel Kumar, Country Head and Managing Director of Syngenta India, reiterated the company's commitment to transforming agriculture by equipping farmers with cutting-edge technology to enhance productivity and create a balanced agricultural environment.

Kumar highlighted that Miravis® Duo is a game changer for chilli crops, offering broad-spectrum disease protection. Initially covering four key crops in India, this product aims to expand coverage to numerous other crops in the future.
