Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) has commenced its inaugural executive training program for the aviation sector at the Centre for Transportation Research and Management (CTRAM) in New Delhi. The three-day program, running from August 5th to August 7th, focuses on "Safety Management Systems" and is conducted in collaboration with Airbus.

The program has garnered significant interest, attracting participants from prominent airlines including IndiGo and Vistara, as well as representatives from Airbus and the Ministry of Civil Aviation. International professionals are also taking part, with four attendees from Nepal and four from Bhutan. The course features instruction from leading industry experts.

The training was inaugurated by Group Captain GVG Yugandhar, Director General of the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau, Ministry of Civil Aviation, and Mr. Sunil Bhaskaran, Director of Air India Aviation Academy. They were joined by GSV Vice-Chancellor Prof. Manoj Choudhary and Dean of Executive Education Prof. Pradeep Garg.

Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, a Central University operated under the Ministry of Railways, is dedicated to covering the entire transportation and logistics sector. Recently, GSV announced a partnership with Airbus to advance aerospace education, training, and research in India. Following an "industry-driven" approach, GSV offers regular educational programs at various levels, including Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees, as well as executive education in sectors such as Railways, Ports & Shipping, and Metro Rail Technology. This academic year, GSV has also introduced a B.Tech in Aviation Engineering.
