Two police personnel, allegedly posing as income tax officials, were arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell after they attempted to raid a businessman's house in Preet Vihar area of the national capital, sources said on Friday. A complaint about the incident was received on Thursday.

The alleged impersonators demanded documents, mobile phones, and a hefty bribe from the businessman. When the family became suspicious and questioned them, the impersonators fled.

Through investigation, it was discovered that the alleged impersonators were police personnel—a head constable from the Preet Vihar police station and a head constable from the traffic police. The Special Cell continues its probe into the case.
